I have seen 16gb micro sdhc cards drop to as low as 30-35 bucks on a deal. IF your going to buy though, I suggest waiting a few weeks when christmas discounts/deals start rolling in.

Re: 16gb micro $46.24,free shipping
really i have 2 8gb sd cards for my phone, and i have never noticed a difference between the 2 when it came to read/wright speed. i even tried the harshest test between my 8gb class 2 and class 6 (that is run tom tom maps from my cards) with no diff at all. just my 2 cents:)

bro if thats on ebay, beware!!!!! alot of the sd cards sold on there are fakes, and maybe show a fraction of the capacity. |

You will notice better if you start copying large files. |
Re: 16gb micro $46.24,free shipping
I too want a higher class card... But it seems like holding out just wastes alot of time. I went to my local Fry's and found an open package(same warranty as sealed) 16Gb class 2 for like 20 bucks on clearance. I jumped on it. Now I have +3000 songs on it and a bunch of other stuff. The music is sssssssslllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwww.... on the sprint music tab, but I have no problems with windows media. I love it and will not hesitate to buy a 32gb when they drop in price. In the meantime.... I have 16 and don't have to settle for class 6 8gb. (I know... You aren't setteling if you are looking for preformance) But this is my phone... What "real" preformance am I gonna get? lol.

but in the end, 20 bucks even for class 2 isn't bad. Mostly if you only use it for storage, when you want to use it more actively by installing apps on it and copying data back and forth is when you ant class 6. |
Re: 16gb micro $46.24,free shipping
ive been running a class 2 memory card 8gig for over a year now, It works fine for me, but when I get a 16gig im gonna look for a class 6 and see if I see any diff.....
Ive read in the past 16gb cards dont go well with flashing via sd card? Anyone flash from a 16 and have no problems????? |
Re: 16gb micro $46.24,free shipping
I've never flashed... But I do run programs straigt off the card... I just don't run anything intense. Like Xtract or GPS software like Wase. I run those off the main memory no problem. I do want to get a class 6 when I get the 32gb though. I haven't really found a media player I love. I wish we had Zune software.
