RAMDUMP Mode... What does this mean to us?

While attempting to figure out the Hard Reset button combo (like the TP1) i came across a combo which gave me the regular tri-color screen but only momentarily. Then it changed to a text that read Triggering RAMDUMP Mode (mightve been toggling i dont remember kinda baked...). The backgroud is all white and on the bottom it said Serial... I plugged it in USB and read USB just ike with the bootloader screen but no new drivers were installed on my laptop...
Idk check it out for yourself...
oh i have the sprint model....
the combo is VolDown , Send Key, Power.

Can a stock TP2 user verify if this combo does the same?

Update: "Trigger RAMDUMP Mode" does indeed work without necessity of a new HSPL. -thanks mikejones13

I'll be PM'ing cmonex to see if this has been brought to her attention.

Re: RAMDUMP Mode... What does this mean to us?

Will this mean we'll be able to dump radio firmwares and ROM's that are never released by HTC [or otherwise]... I.e. the Bell Radio for the TP1.

Is this something that was added from the OliNex SPL? Can a stock TP2 user verify if this combo does the same?

Re: RAMDUMP Mode... What does this mean to us?

What do you plan to dump from the phone that we don't already have?

I'm all for new things, but we really have everything that came on this phone is some other format whether it is in a .cab or OEM.
