animated weather question??

running MighyMike's awesome ROM:

Is there any way to get the weather to update the temperature manually without leaving the home screen??

I know you can make the animations run, but that does not actually update the weather temp.

When I'm at work, I sometimes realy want to check the current temp & what it's showing on the home screen is outdated. I don't really want to have to go to the weather tab & say "update now" each time (I could do that BEFORE I had the home screen weather)

I have them turned on, but it doesn't seem to do it aften enough & I can't find any way to tell it to update at faster intervals.

I've noticed that strangely, I have to hit the Start menu button and then exit the start menu to get the weather animation working.

^^That's normal Kilgore. And to crazybliss, my bet is he used HDWalls to create a cab for the wallpaper, I heard this works in another thread, have yet to try it, ymmv.

thats how its supposed to be, I think if it animated nonstop it would cause a little battery drainage. Just like the clock flipping back a hour and 2 min. Its all for show. Instead of having to wait a minuete to show of your flip clock just push taskmanager and minimize it.....

I am wondering the same thing. How do you have animated weather on Mighty's ROM? Is there something I have not enabled or something I need to install to get this to work?

Re: animated weather question??

Animated weather will work fine with the MM ROM, but only if you use the default wallpaper (from the TF settings tab)

I changed my default WP by installing a WP cab made with HDwalls.

My only problem is, the weather updates so infrequently it's kinda useless IMHO.
