Ok, so I love the new HTC Messaging app used with Manila 2.5, but I find it gets really slow when you have any considerable amount of texts saved. Does anyone know of any way to speed this up?

Re: HTC's new messages app

I'm using energy rom photon and would very much like to get the 2.5 msg app. I really like the way it looks! Is there a way to get it in a cab so I can install it on my device?

I'm not sure if it's compatible with Manila 2.1

Re: HTC's new messages app

I know deleting messages will make it faster, but I want to speed up the program in general. I just thought of something though...I used to use speedbooster to remedy keyboard lag on my TP1 (Found the idea in Mighty's thread) and I'm gonna see if I can get it to speed this up too. Installing now...I'll post results.

Re: HTC's new messages app

Tried cranking up the HTC messaging client process in speedbooster, as well as tmail.exe and neither made a noticeable difference. Anyone got more ideas?

Re: HTC's new messages app

YES mine runs INCREDIBLY slow with texting multiple people at once. It's driving me nuts.
