teathering internet disconnecting after 10min

Well, like the title says, the internet connection keeps cutting out. I am running WMWifirouter with the stealth cab, and cm killer installed.

What happens is I use WMWifirouter to connect to my laptop normally, everything boots and connects and off to the races I go. but after about 10min of use either everything will stop without a warning, or i will get a popup on the phone saying cannot conncet to internet blah blah blah, and i dismiss it. Once I dismiss it, I disconnect but dont exit WMWifirouter, and click on the wifi tab again, reconnect, and then im good for about another 10min before the cycle starts yet again. It seems to do it with more frequency when I am dl'ing or streaming something (ie: youtube).

Anyone got any insight?

Tethering - tested and works

1 - using file explorer go to Windows\Start Menu\Programs - delete internect connection sharing

2 install - ICS_and_WModem_Fix cab

3. using a regedit program

Extension="" Delete the "isext.dll" entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
ForceCellConnection="Sprint"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
MaxCMCon=0

[HKLM\Services\CMGuardian]
Flags = 4 (it's a DWORD if it doesn't exist.)

4 - soft reset
5 - Start the Internet Sharing application.
6 - Select Sprint under type of connection.
7 - Hit Connect In the Internet Sharing application.
8 - Connect to the Laptop/PC via USB
9 - Done. No other applications needs to run on the PC/Laptop.

whoops, i should have clarified better. Im using the wifi, and not tethering with the USB cable

I have the same issue while tethering using wifi. I tried both htc wifi router and wmwifi. The issue still persists. With USB tethering i can go on forever until i want to disconnect. Can any one please confirm the above posted solution is for the wifi disconnection problem while tethering.

Does it just disconnect or the application closes? (for wmwifirouter is ICS also still open?)

and which rom are you using?

The internet connection on my computer disconnects. The application doesn't close. I am using stock sprint rom.
