Weird problem with all custom taskbars
I tried searching for this answer, but to be honest, I am not sure I am searching for the right keywords. On all custom 6.5 taskbars that I install, my signal meter gets replaced with some strange white box with an x through it. It is ugly and driving me crazy!
I think it is because I do not have a sim card...But I could be wrong!! Please help me make it go away!!!

I had the same problem with 6.1 taskbars. I didn't have a SIM card. It was fixed after I got a SIM card from a repair center at a Sprint store. So the problem is caused by not having a SIM card. Hope this helps.

No, they didn't charge me. I just went in and asked for one and they gave me one with no questions asked. I hope it's as easy for you.
