thats funny los angeles dont have it yet and there small town (riedsville nc) with no more than 14,000 in population they have it .

Cities with dense populations usually don't get things such as WiMax first because of the fact that there are so many people the amount of equipment needed to run trials would be too expensive to roll out. Think about it.

Sprint is using the WiMax technology and I think the TP2 doesnt support that. However, Verizon is going to use LTE technolegy which is just an extension of the current EVDO network, so I think the TP2 will work with LTE but not WiMax.
