htc album slowness
 

Every time I view a picture, the album always displays it in landscape. Then theres also a delay when I tap the screen to be able to go back to the previous screen, zoom, or flip to the next pic. I used to think it was a tp1 custom rom issue, but have the same problem on a stock tp2. I end up tapping the screen over and over impatiently waiting for the little popup menu. Has anyone else had this issue and or found a reg edit or way around it?

yea i hate that. so freaking embarrasing when ur trying to show off ur phone. now i know to not try to open picture

i think this happens cause of the accelometer trying to change to landscape. Try disabling the accelometer if you dont really need it. But I agree its very annoying.

I figured out a little bit of a fix for it. It works well when you access the album from tf3d, but for some reason goes back to the old way when you view a picture in file explorer. Spent a little time tweakin' the registry, try it out and see if it works.

HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCAlbum/Rotate=1 Change value to "0"

Works for me, hope it works for you.
