Re: Windows mobile device center for Win 7 ?
It is WMDC for W7, like Vista. I have been running W7 since 10/22. Please note it may miss your device but will eventually find the driver calling it a general serial device. Also, there is a Microsoft update for WMDC from 2007 that you should get if you do routine updates.
I have not gotten the TP2 but assume it will be the same as the 6800. There are a few minor issues I had had but the main issue is a lack of proper synchronization of files from Excel back and forth between laptop and PDA. Does not seem to allow editing on the PDA and transmission of edited file back in correct format to the PDA. ActiveSync did this alright. I have not had the time to play with this but verified it by changing files on the PDA. Otherwise synchronization works file via USB... not time to try BT yet but was not obvious to get it to work. On the 6800 and XP I was able to tether via BT. Anyway, I have not looked back since starting to use W7.

Re: Windows mobile device center for Win 7 ?
If you have upgraded from Vista to 7 .. i had problems with my Activesync after install and ended up re-installing it to get it to work... But it has worked well after that.

Re: Windows mobile device center for Win 7 ?
Does Windows 7 have a mail/calendar program that will sync with the TP2, or must Outlook be installed to allow syncing?
