Google Maps Navigation

Any way of getting the new Google Maps navigation coming on the Droid on the TP2 for Verizon? It's in Adroid 2.0 and looks sweet not to mention the price (free)!!!

Not right now... the app is for Android currently... no announcement yet on WM... they have Google Navigator out for WM but that costs money and appears to be headed the way of the dinosaur...

I can see a day when Google refuses to come out with applications for any other platform other than Android. Imagine no Maps/navi or Voice apps for WM, BB or IPhone. If you want the services, use Android.

I don't think that day is coming any time soon, if ever. Google's entire business model is based on the number of eyes viewing their content. Android is a way for them to increase that, but they'll support any platform that can help deliver more eyes. And as long as they're still putting out great services for free, I'm glad to oblige. :)
