Disable G-Sensor (Accelerometer)

Anybody know of a way to disable the G-Sensor (Accelerometer) programatically or via command line. I want to disable it at a certain time and then re-enable it at a certain time via CT-Scheduler.

Thanks.

Haven't tried it on my touch pro 2, but I did on my touch pro, and I think it did help with battery life.

Thanks for the response, but I didn't want to totally disable it. I just want to turn it off or on based on a certain time frame.
