Unlockers and Hardspl not brick anymore?

well when i unlocked my touch (like 2 years ago) i had no problems and it unlocked fine.

when i tried to unlock a snap a week ago it bricked...

my question is.. basically is there going to be a guide for the CDMA touch pro 2 how to use the Kitchen, flash, hardspl etc... i reallly dont want to brick it and where will the guide be or a guide on how to flash these devices. I just got my sprint touch pro 2 and its under the 30 days.. so i would like to flash it soon but i dont want to brick it?

i also heard if u flash from ur SD card it will not brick?

when the hardspl is released there will be a guide....... cant make it before we know how it works....

now the mods will treat you like a child and close down yet another dicussion. The guys over at XDA are having a ball with this. Im jumping over to the ETPD forums until the war is over.

no its not an unlocker question its just in general...

like i heard now u can do unlocking over the sd card and it looses the risk of bricking your device?

also how to make a kitchen etc.. with a kitchen how to make a Rom.. All of that stuff...

anyway that was my question.. i knw a guide will be posted when its done, im just saying for the meantime...

I don't think they will, maybe you guys should actually read before coming into his thread and trying to get your post count (read: epeen) up. This has nothing to do specifically with the unlocker about to come out, but just a general question about unlockers and ****.

Anwyay dude, yea there will be a guide an whatnot, but as for your second question I really don't know. To be honest I've never heard of someones phone being bricked from just unlocking, can you give more info to what you did and maybe we can figure out what caused it in the first place so you won't have to worry about it happening again?

on the touch i just went to install a new SPL etc.. and then started to flash roms..

worked just fine..

then on the snap i tried to do the same thign..

but i got an error during the middle of the flash... then it bricked.

when i was doing the touch (like 2 years ago) i was reading about a new system that would allow for unlocks over the SD card that would make sure u could never brick the device..

also i am now using windows 7.... so will that make a difference in the effect is everything still based of xp..?

and finally, where do i get kitches and learn to make my own roms without bricking my phone. I would love to preinstall the apps i want etc... and get rid of lots of bloatware etc...

You're asking about something that doesn't yet exist, so we can't possibly know the answer yet. As soon as its available you'll get your answers, if its ever available of course

Kitchens can be found in the Upgrades sub-section for each device.
