Fusion Voicemail Plus

Has anyone gotten this working on their Verizon TP2? If you have I'd appreciate the steps it takes to do it. So far I have been unable to get it to work, seems like it's something to do with call forwarding. Thanks!

Re: Fusion Voicemail Plus

you have to enter a code(*71 or *72 and the fowarding number to the answering service). to foward a call once it goes into your voicemail. had to call verizon twice because the first tech said there was no such feature(to foward once a call goes to voicemail), then the second time i call the tech knew what i needed.

Re: Fusion Voicemail Plus

phone fusion is the truth and it almost seems retarded to me that windows is pushing this free app and carriers are tryin to get paid per month for their same service...retarded.

Simple just call *71 forward the call to 813-200-0200 number to phone fusion. Open from your phone and add your number to accounts list. This is assuming you are already set up on the FVM site. And enjoy its a good service.

Let me clarify, there is not an on device app for winmo and youmail but I have been using it for several months now, first found it for my Storm. You can still change YouMail to your default Voicemail ,ie pressig speed dial number 1 to call YouMail, and you still get the text and email alerts right on the device.

To be honest after the first few times I flashed my Storm I didnt bother reloading the on device app but I have continued to use Youmail and have the audio attached as an MP3 file to the alerts.

Re: Fusion Voicemail Plus

Yes, and works just fine for me…

1. (The obvious): Make sure that you have call forwarding on your VZW account, and that you've set-up a Fusion VM account via their website.
2. Open the FVM+ program, and go Options>Settings>Configure Accounts
3. Click Options, Add, and enter your FVM account number (s/b 12 digits), and password (s/b 4 digits) and click Save. Then, click Done from the Accounts screen.
4. Activate FVM+ account by going to Options>Settings>Activate FVM+. You’ll get a message to press Call/Send/Talk when the phone window appears, Press Ok, and the FVM+ number will appear in your dialer. I am not sure if this step is really necessary because you’ll receive a message that will say that your feature activation failed when you call, but I did it anyway.

Your account should now work. Test it our by calling your telephone number and send to vm, you should receive your test audio message (or text, if you opted to pay for this feature) in your FVM+ app.Voila! I like this program because you have the ability to hear your vm’s without dialing, and you can receive faxes…cool. J
