Hands Free - Always on?

When connected to a bluetooth device, I'm wondering how I can have the Hands Free option always enabled so that when I make a call from my handset, I don't have to hit menu > hands-free ON all the time to transfer the call to the bluetooth device its connected to...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Hands Free - Always on?

What headset do you have? My Jawbone (and every other BT headset with many combination of phones) automatically connects unless I hit the talk button on the phone and then I can use the handset and not my Jawbone.

Re: Hands Free - Always on?

Same here, normally on ring number 1. Even if answered from the device, it goes to the headset.

Re: Hands Free - Always on?

No no, the device will connect automatically, that's not a problem. I am actually using the bluetooth system in my vehicle. When paired, and I use my handset to dial out it comes through the handset unless I hit Menu>Hands Free ON .. then it transfers the call through the bluetooth link. Incoming calls are fine. When I answer, it comes straight through to the hands free system.

Just wondering how I can have the Hands Free ON option always toggled so I don't have to hit it every time to transfer outgoing calls made from the handset to the hands free system to hear it through my speakers.

Hope this clarifies and thanks for the responses!

If you go to connection settings and go to bluetooth, then go to the second tab from top, you should see a list of devices, select the handsfree and you will see the device specific options, maybe it's there? i use headsets, so i may not see what you have.
