Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions

These are questions for those running Windows 7 and have a TP2.

Does W7 sync okay with the TP2?

If I install W7 should I upgrade or install it completely?

If I install it completely will it wipe out all my driver settings like video and resolution and windows media stuff.

If it does what are the recommendations for keeping my current stuff while installing the new OS?

Thanks for the help as I attempt to jump on the Windows 7 train.

I will attempt to answer your questions to the best of my ability

1. It syncs just fine because WMDC is built in so no need to install.

2. I would go with a clean install but that is my personal preference.

3. A clean install is just that a clean install. Some drivers are included but its best to get the correct drivers for your hardware.

4. Download all of the correct drivers and save to a flash drive. Backup your data with an external hard drive or a logical partition on your current drive.

That is about all I think. Oh, I think you might get flamed for posting this in the upgrades section. Although I see your reason for posting it here. Others may not.

1. yes the TP2 synce w/o problems.

2+3+4. back up all your personal and important files on another drive, DVD-R, or other media. As a fresh install is best, which will wipe everything clean.

Thanks for your responses. Flaming has become normal around here which is unfortunate.

Where would I find these correct drivers from?
