FIXED!!! Jack was dead. 3.5 4 conductor to 3 conducter adapter for Headphones

FIXED Thank you, Jack was dead

I have a set of Bose Headphones it has a 3.5 mm 3 conductor jack. I'd like to get an adapter that will work with my Verizon TP2. I don't need the Mike to work I use it when I'm flying to listen to books. I need audio only.

I checked amazon.com and couldn't find anything. has anyone found one?

Do what now? A three-conductor 3.5mm plug works just fine on the SPCS/VZW Touch Pro 2 out of the box.

Nope, when I plug the 3 conductor standard stereo jack nothing happens, 4 conductor works fine.

Funny, I use regular headphones on my SPCS TP2 that are 3 conductor and they work great.

Maybe I'm confused here.

3 con plug works great in my SPCS phone as well. I cant imagine VW has something different there, but ya never know.

I have a pair of Bose headphones with a TRS (3 conductor) jack and they work great! This might sound dumb but are you sure there isn't a problem with the headphones themselves?

Never Mind the jack was dead. it happens every now and then I did a reset and the jack worked. After I read the above comments I put the headphones that I got with the phone in and they didn't work either.
