Re: Verizon tp2 not discontinued please sticky
it would be kinda dumb for a company to invest that kind of money and not even use the product. good job!

How about no. If you can't understand why it isn't discontinued by the previous posts, then just give up.

Re: Verizon tp2 not discontinued please sticky
As I've stated before, if a company were to discontinue a product, the easiest way to do that is simply pull it from their website instead of continually advertising for it.
Guess what Verizon hasn't done? These "Verizon has discontinued the TP2" memes are totally ridiculous, so ridiculous I'm surprised that we need to sticky this. Should I also sticky a note that the U.S. Post Office isn't looking into a way to charge for email too? (no offense to the OP either, just venting too). |

Re: Verizon tp2 not discontinued please sticky
I too was told that Verizon was going to be replacing the Touch Pro 2. Now everyone can kick and scream "smart business" all they want, but what if in some small chance this were true? It wouldn't be the first time Verizon has done something radical like this. It isn't all that impossible to fathom either.
Verizon is launching a whole new series of phones over the next few months; Verizon could simply have a contractual obligation with HTC to sell a certain amount of different devices over a certain period of time (which would answer why they haven't pulled the Touch Pro 2 from the web site). Keep an open mind, for ever 10 people claiming that Verizon isn't canceling the device, I can get you 20 that say they are, and all of which come from within Verizon. Its been Verizon's biggest issue; consistent and accurate training of their employees, not to mention the above statement of being on commission and trying to get paid at the end of the day by getting a customer into another device. |
