TP2 Vibrating for no reason throughout the night...

My TP2 and I had a bad night last night...for some reason it kept vibrating 3 times (like a text message alert when ring is set to vibrate) in random intervals and would occasionally throw in a long vibrate. I kept checking it and I had no messages or e-mails coming in, not to mention my system and ring volumes were both set to max w/ no vibrate. This is the first time I have ever experienced this. I even disabled data to be sure and it was still happening. I finally had to move it to another room so I could get some sleep. Soft Resets did not cure the problem, but it has been behaving itself this morning. Any ideas???

Alarm, voicemail, task/calendar appointment reminders perhaps? Or maybe your phone is just possessed.

Try checking your sounds and notifications settings for anything unusual. Goodluck.

Re: TP2 Vibrating for no reason throughout the night...

Another thing, do you have a program that resets your phone at night, such as SPB Backup after performing a backup? This wouldn't cause the phone to vibrate three times, but could once. Every time my device soft resets, it vibrates.

You said you disabled data? Did you make the phone so data couldn't connect or did you just turn data off? I know there are a lot of programs that will connect to data automatically, if configured to do so and many people have their phones set to vibrate when data connects and ends.
