.net 3.5 Compact Framework Installation Error

Whenever I try to install .net Compact framework 3.5 I keep getting the following error after the status bar goes full:

Error
Installation error. Stop all applications and processes, maximize available storage space, and run installation again. Support info: 2.

Long time user and never got this before. I'm using the cab that worked for my TP and accoding to the tweaks sticky works for TP2: NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab.

All applications are stopped. Pulled out of TF3D and killed my data connection. Storage 133.71 MB Free, Program 62.59 Free. Still won't install.

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on what I can do?

Re: .net 3.5 Compact Framework Installation Error

I didn't usse the cab, but I hooked my phone to my laptop and went to programs in the control panel and hit repair ... it automatically loaded 3.5 to my phone.

If you have .NET on your computer, try installing that way.

Re: .net 3.5 Compact Framework Installation Error

hmmmm.... u may have a conflict somewhere.... i hate to suggest it, but you may need to hard reset and install 35 first, then go about the rest... i have it in my sashimi again since i figured out my issues, and even installing in the middle of a 50cab auto process i get no errors...

have u made sure everythings removed?? made sure there no partial info from the failed DL?? even though then it should prompt u for removal b4 install..

sorry i dont have a better answer

Re: .net 3.5 Compact Framework Installation Error

I found it. Dashwire was the culprit. Strange. I've always installed dashwire first on every new device (to sync contacts) and this is the first time it's had a conflict...

hmmm I have no problems here and im Tmobile also... From the looks of it, it may be something ya have installed that is the problem, try soft reset first, also try install to device and storage?... Might wanna either try and target it by luck or hard reset and try right off the bat. 3.5 is always what I install first since alot of programs are 3.5 necessary............

Anyone know if theres even a benefit in installing 3.7? I got it but havent installed it yet..
