text message delay

i've been lurking around this forum for a while now. i just got my tp2 like 2 days ago and whenever i send a text message it would take almost 10 mins for the other person to receive it, sometimes they dont receive it at all. is anyone else having this problem?

usually these delays are due to the network not the phone. Not unusual to experience a lag when sending a text to someone that has a different service provider.

Im not but it's most likely not your phone, its probably your service provider.

Mine are always instant 3-4 seconds Verizon to Verizon and about a 12 hour freaking delay to Alltel ;(

Mine are nearly instant to both Sprint and Verizon customers. Not sure about other carriers.

Definitely network, though. Not the phone.
