Does your Notification LED not blink when charging?

I was hoping that the NOtification LED would blink green when i have a new text or message while it's being charged, but it seems to stay on the constant orange LED indicating it's being charged all the time.

I wrote to HTC about this problem a couple weeks ago:

What I quoted was the last thing they wrote to me. It wouldn't hurt for you to complain, too. Maybe they'll address the problem.

Re: Does your Notification LED not blink when charging?

They'll come back with the normal "this is by design".

What irks me more is that the indicator still flashes after I've gone into my mailbox. Sometimes I can simply switch to the mailbox with the new message(s) without opening them and it stops flashing. Other times I actually have to open a message before it will stop flashing.

Sorry to semi-hijack the thread. Just me $0.02.

Re: Does your Notification LED not blink when charging?

You might be using the wrong cord or a low grade power source. The TP2 requires a more substantial power source than the tp1
