Battery size and capacity compared to TP

this is strictly speculation. The battery life I get on my TP2 is way way better than i did on the TP but still i was wondering...

The TP2 battery is easily more than 1.5 times the size of the TP1 battery physcially. Just stack them next to each other, you'll see.

However, the capacity TP1(1340) and TP2(1500) is about 1.1 times larger. Why is that?
