change TouchFLO SMS 'mark as read' time

Is there are way to change the SMS setting of 'mark as read' to 1 second instead of what seems 2 seconds? It really doesn't take that long to read a message and I hate waiting for it. I took a quick browse in the registry but didn't find a setting.
