Verizon into Sprint?

I'm a bit new to this.. is it possible to get a Verizon TP2 to work on Sprint?

No, the Verizon ESN (Electronic Serial Number) will not be in Sprints database. Because of that they won't be able to activate it.

that is true about esn not being in the data base but i know for sure if u could talk to the right people they could have it added!! i have done it with sprint phones on verizon 5 times so far!!

I have never heard of anyone getting a foreign ESN activated on Sprint's network.

Sprint and Verizon phones are compatible on each others network. However, as mentioned, Sprint won't add another carrier's ESN in their database.

I've heard of some people changing the ESN to one that is on Sprint, but I don't know the legalities of that here in the US. Not suggesting it by any means though.

^^ its illegal, but doable.
when it comes down to it, sure its possible to have the phone registered under sprint; iirc, they wont do it because it could create a complicating case for TEP coverage. not to mention, they perfer you to sport the big sprint logo over their competitor if youre in their network

You are correct, however for the normal person I doubt they will be able to find/know the correct rep to do that for them.

Glad to hear you're not recommending it. There are harsh federal laws against cellphone cloning, and you'd have a very difficult time proving that's not what you were doing if you got caught changing the ESN on a device.
