Any thoughts?
This can't be discussed here. It is against forum rules and you're likely to get yourself banned if you try. Just trying to help you out.

Re: Verizon into Sprint?

In store at sprint, I was told there is talk of accepting other carrier phones coming in the near future...

Re: Verizon into Sprint?

I don't think store reps really know what they are talking about when it comes to things like this. As a former rep myself, I know that rumors spread quickly and usually are exaggerated or completely false. I have however activated a Verizon phone on Sprint successfully before. It was one of the old Treo's. The way I did it is that I called customer service, gave them the serial number, and they told me it wasn't a Sprint phone, I told them it was (even though it was Verizon), and they forced it through after putting me on hold for 20 minutes or so. Of course, the phone still didn't work, so they submitted a trouble ticket, and about 3 weeks later, voila! My Verizon phone was working on Sprint, data, voice, and all! Was not a 3g phone, so I'm not sure if EVDO would work. Good luck.
