Anyone Pairing VZW TP2 with a Mercedes?

I'm curious if anyone has real experience successfully pairing a CDMA TP2 with a late-model Mercedes, using Bluetooth, so that the phone can be operated through the COMAND system. If so, did all the contacts download from the phone to the COMAND system?

I'm getting a TP2 soon, and trading in for a newer model Benz next spring (before the extended warranty runs out on my current car), and would like to have a compatible phone.

I am curious about this as well. I am still trying to order a TP2 thru VZW on the west coast. I have a 2008 model with command. I do not care about the contact transferring but the BT is a must thru command. I hate to wear ear pieces.

I received my TP2 Monday, but I have a 2001 CLK without the COMAND system so I can't use it with the car. When you get your TP2 and try it out with your '08 please let me know how it works.

BTW, people have been able to order Verizon TP2 from the online store by trying different zip codes. It seems that it's in stock in some warehouses but not others, and Verizon only checks the warehouse associated with the zip code you use when checking availability. works fine with a 2000 S500 through the command (TP2 Sprint)... as long as you have a bluetooth adaptor.

I'm using a "Argos" adaptor... it replaces the phone control module. (a lot cheaper then the factory bluetooth setup)

I had trouble downloading the phone book, untill I copied my contacts to the SIM card. Now everything works!

I can't get the Touch pro2 to communicate with the 2008 Mercedes C300.

I think I'm doing it right and wonder if there is some basic incompatability.

it took forever to get my sprint tp2 connected with my c300 comand bluetooth, now how the heck do i transfer my phonebook?

I haven't figured that out yet.

I did stumble on something in one of the blutooth menus about sending objects. Don't know if that's where we would do the transfer.

Most of my regular phone numbers were aready in the C300 from my previous phone.

If you figure it out, please post about it.

I need to back date this post so pretend it was posted about a week ago.

Before getting the Touch Pro2 to pair with the C300, I had to change the blue tooth setting in the phone to discoverable. I still stumbled around but eventually got it to pair.

I bought my TP2 from sprint... Therefore I could not afford the Mercedes Benz. Sorry for not being much help.

I don't have a command on mine but I believe for the command to recognize your contacts, you need to go to the phone's Sim Manager and copy your contacts to the SIM.
