my sprint TP2 has an annoying blinking green light next to the speaker. what does it blink for? how do i turn it off?

or miss text messages, voicemail, email and reminders. It blinks cause you have notifications..

Like posted it above, it blinks when you miss a call, or have new mail, or have a new text message. You can turn that off by going to Start, Settings, Sound, Advanced, Notifications. Once in there you can go down the list on the event and uncheck "Flash Light For" from settings such as Missed call, Text message blah blah blah.

I really like that the TP2 has normal blinking indicator lights and keeps them off normally.

Really I am the opposite at first I hated the "ring of light" on old tp but now I miss the heartbeat when charging and crazy flash for messages.. Now the single green light just seems well.. boring.. but I love the phone

yea i know what u mean. when the TP was charging it looked like it was breathing. really cool. maybe someone can cook up something with the combination of the orange and green LEDs....

Well, TP2 pretty much took to the "Professional" look with less lights and tried to make the entire phone look like it had little to no "unnecessary" items. Of course carriers (no names *cough Sprint*) took it into their own hands and made weird back covers, but who's complaining?

I much prefer the TP2's light. The only problem is I need it to be red or orange and NOT green when I have notifications.
