Getting Opera to behave like it did "stock"

Obviously since we don't have the unlocker quite yet by my phone is still on the stock rom, but I hard reset and installed the sprint cleanup cab. I love everything it did...almost. I was really enjoying the whole opera opening in no time flat thing. I searched around and even with opera added as an exclusive task, i still see the the HTC loading screen whenever I open anything opera. I understand it will use more RAM and i'm fine with that, how do I make opera like it used to be?

Well I thought that adding opera to my list of exclusive processes would do it, which is similar to what you're doing, but it seems I was mistaken. Has anyone come up with a fix for this?
