Faulty Hardware Keyboard

So, I just got my Verizon TP2 replaced from Verizon because the TV Out function was not working. Now, my replacement's TV Out feature works fine, but on the hardware keyboard, I have to push twice as hard for the "Y" key to work. My other TP2 did not have this problem. If I push down normally on the "Y" key, the letter is not input to the device.

My question is, Do you think Verizon will allow me to get another replacement even though I just sent in my first faulty TP2 today?

Re: Faulty Hardware Keyboard

My third one is arriving Monday. If you're within their 30 day worry free then they will.

Re: Faulty Hardware Keyboard

Well I just got off the phone with Verizon and they said that once they recieve more in stock (they are out of stock again), they will ship me a third device. As the old saying goes, "The third time's a charm!"

I asked about the 30 day worry free trial. This only applies to if you want a completely different phone. If you are having problems with the TP2 that is a manufacture's defect, you are covered under the one year phone's warranty.

If you don't mind me asking bluruld, what was wrong with your first two devices. It would be good to document problems people could look for on their devices when they first get them.

Re: Faulty Hardware Keyboard

yeah im on my second device due to a faulty ear speaker and dead pixels. my first keyboard was head and shoulders better than my current keyboard. how could there possibly be room for so much difference between keyboards on the same exact phone! i am not ready to change phones again for a third one but i think i have to because i just can't type on this thing... awful!!

Re: Faulty Hardware Keyboard

I think every one of us deserves to get a replacement. For as much money as we all spent on this phone and as much time as we devote to it, we deserve to have a perfect one!
