um... mine said li-ion.. but 2000mah... anybody else not say li-poly?

But yeah i just got mine and draining battery now?? i'm guessing we need to let it charge with the power off...but i use my phone as an alarm.. should i just use the old batt to charge overnight then switch in am when go to work and drain the poly??

dont work wed so no need for an alarm and phone can be off and charge

Please read about discharging and prolonging the life of NiMH versus Lithium-based batteries. If you are doing a full discharge, put the phone on some aluminum surface to help cool it.

The battery should say li-ion polymer. As for the whole battery life thing, just charge the battery like you normally do. As long as youre not tossing the thing in a fire, the battery will perform just as well with any charging method you choose (as long as you apply common sense)

Mine also drains fast.. but everyonce in a while.. not consistently..
i have had mine for about 2 weeks.. and it is very flaky. some days i can listen to music for 4-5 hours on full charge, today @ 1/2 charge i got 30 min of music... i emailed the guy last week and got no response.. i want to try a new one.. i thnik mine is defective.. any one have a good way to contact him, i pm via Ebay, and got no response.

Li-ION batteries do not need to be fully discharged and recharged. It will in fact shorten your battery life if you do this.

I ordered 2 on Nov 20th. They arrived today. Not bad considering that 2 weekends and Thanksgiving were in the mix. I also got the microSD card reader(pink) as a bonus. The funny thing I noticed is on one side of the battery it says Li-ion and the says Li-poly.......so which is it?????

Ordered mine yesterday! Can't wait to give it a shot. I had the 3000 mAH mugen on my TP1 so I'm definitely missing the long battery life. Too bad the seller told me it could take up to 20 days for it to come in.
