how do I get the ringtone to come through my headset?

I know I could do it with my original tp. but i cant get it to work withthe tp2

i have a moto h700.

is it the bluetooth chipset of the tp2? i would have thought technology went forward not backwards.

anyone get the ringtones to work on their bluetooth? reg hacks?

Re: how do I get the ringtone to come through my headset?

should be found in one of the bluetooth settings. I toyed around with mine and managed to get audio streaming into my bluetooth (and therefore my rings too). Just go into the bluetooth settings, one of them should say "allow audio streaming into headset" or something along those lines

slide to settings, at the lower right hand corner press menu, and then bluetooth devices. at the top left corner press the picture that looks like gears. click where it say advanced, and the plus sign will turn into a minus. scroll down to audio, and press it. check the box to play system sounds through bluetooth.

I have the same question as the OP, and have this already checked and enabled. Doesn't work, however, on my Verizon TP2 and Moto H700 headset. There is an audio indication of a call, but the specific ringtone assigned doesn't come through the headset.

Not a crucial fix, but would be nice...

Works fine on my Jawbone Prime. Only tweaks running are the Verizon tweaks cab and the bluetooth hangup cab.

Re: how do I get the ringtone to come through my headset?

i can hear the audio coming through the headset when i test it and at the very end of the call after I hang it up.

but when it rings in I just get the tones I have a call coming through.

I can listen to music through it just fine its just incoming calls that dont work
