Notification light

So one question I have, being their is no circle button on the touch pad on the TP2 what blinks or does a light show when you miss a call or get an email? Does it even have that? With the TP2 being bigger and heavier if it doesn't have a nice notification light that would be about enough for me to stay.

Re: Notification light

The light to the left of the ear speaker is your notification light. Unfortunately it only works for missed calls, dead battery & charging. I'm hoping WM6.5 or the chefs fix this.

Re: Notification light

This can be assigned for all notifications. This can be configured from All Settings/Personal/Sounds & Notifications.

Re: Notification light

I've been working on other areas of the phone. If you know a way to have light blink for SMS/MMS & email please share.

Re: Notification light

Mine blinks green constantly every three seconds all day. I have no idea why but since it's in my pocket it really doesn't bother me. It is solid yellow when charging and solid green when fully charged and plugged in.

Re: Notification light

In Settings click on the Personal tab.
Click on Sounds and Notifications
Click on the Notifications tab

There you will see a dropdown of events.

Messaging: New e-mail message
Messaging: New test message
Messaging: New MMS

For each one of those you can choose to have the light flash.

Re: Notification light

+1 for the light on all notifications...it blinks at me all day for MMS/SMS, emails, missed calls, reminders, etc. I love being able to glance at the phone to see if I have anything I need to address.

Re: Notification light

Thanks, I wasn't sure about that. I liked the different light patterns on the TP but as long and this has some type of indicator that's a good thing.

Re: Notification light

I agree, I wish it was more noticeable like the TP. Intead, it's like my old Mogul.
