Switch from TP to TP2

I'm planning on switching from the Touch Pro to the Touch Pro 2 soon.

I'd really appreciate any feedback from people who have made this switch. I'd especially like to hear about any difficulties that came up. Was there any software that didn't work, is tethering still just a matter of a reg edit, etc?

Thanks!

Re: Switch from TP to TP2

I have had no issues with my TP2 and everything seems to work great.. Definetly a major improvement in all aspects... I have not been happier with a sprint phone in quite some time..

For the most part it seems like the feedback from people who went from the tp1 to the tp2 have been very positive. As far as your other inquiries, you can find those answers all over this forum since all those topics has been spoken about countless times. Yes there are some cabs that don't work right and you still need to do a reg edit for tethering.

Re: Switch from TP to TP2

I made the switch from TP to TP2 & never looked back. Outstanding phone, it's what the original TP should've been. The only problems I had thus far is with bluetooth ( Does not play well with voice command, bluetooth headset will not hang up after call)

Re: Switch from TP to TP2

No problems here. I use bluetooth S9HD stereo bluetooth headphones, a Samsung bluetooth earpiece, and an Insignia Bluetooht ipod adapter (you know... it plugs into any ipod doc and I can stream bluetooth music to it, I use it in my car or at my fanboy friends' homes. They can't do that) All without a hitch.
Only software issues I have had were some of the cheap little apps I ran on my TP can't handle the resolution of the TP2. (at least that's why I think they don't work.) but nothing major. More like carcalc and a couple of others.
Get it. Got it. Good.
