Can I Re-Apply the stock screen protector?

I followed the water+soap method to apply the screen protector that came with the TP2, but after drying I noticed a couple of spots where a single spec of dust got caught, creating a small air bubble underneath the protector.

Can I take a razor and gingerly take of the screen protector, wash it, and try re-applying?

It's been a couple of days since application.

Sure you can. Try not to scratch the bottom side and bend the edges. I wouldnt use a razor. I used my finger nail.

Re: Can I Re-Apply the stock screen protector?

The reason I ask is I'm not sure if the screen protector will stick on the screen the second time around - does it depend on some kind of adhesive to stick, which would be washed off or worn off by a repeat application?

Re: Can I Re-Apply the stock screen protector?

I used hot tap water and soap to clean it, then rinsed it off with rubbing alcohol. I shook what I could off and put mine back on. It just needs to be clean as possible.

You can re-apply it over and over again

I've done it three times already lol

Re: Can I Re-Apply the stock screen protector?

i use a piece of tape and stick it to a corner to peel it off. wash it with the tape on and handle it holding the tape to prevent getting fingerprints on the bottom. i use canned air to blow all the water off the bottom side of mine before i re-apply it

LOL, I never thought of using tape. That is a great idea.

Re: Can I Re-Apply the stock screen protector?

Just reapplied the protector after it was sitting on my desk collecting dust after failed application.

Washed it in warm water with hand soap for about 5 minutes. Used alcohol pads to clean off whatever fingerprints I had from earlier. Re-washed in water/soap again, since alcohol left "drying spots" and reapplied. Seems good so far.
