Password Lock Button in 6.1?

I know that in windows mobile 6.5 on my old Touch Pro if I pressed start I could then press lock to lock the device with the password I had set instead of waiting the set amount of time before it auto locks, I just wanted to know if there was a way of doing this with my Touch Pro 2 now in WM 6.1 because I really dont like anyone using my phone without my permission and supervision and would like to put up my password lock wenever I am leaving my phone somewhere or am done using it. I have set the auto lock to a minute which kinda does that but it is annoying when I am using the device and the minute passes without activity and I have to unlock again (such as when im waiting for a someone to respond to a text). So if anyone knows of a way to do this please pass on the information.

Re: Password Lock Button in 6.1?

Try setting it to "0" minutes. This setting I believe will lock the device when you turn it off so you have to put in your password when turning it back on. You could also use this cab. It gives you the Device Lock in your programs menu. You could just hit it similar to how you did it in 6.5.

Re: Password Lock Button in 6.1?

Actually the device lock program worked perfectly for a little bit and now it does nothing when I press the button. Any ideas? I tried the 0 minutes thing and it still locks the device when im just waiting not just when i press the power button.
