So has anyone gotten the $199 price for an upgrade today?

I know there is an existing thread on people who bought the phone at $350+ and then tried, with varying success, to get a credit.

However, I'm looking to upgrade my Mogul to the TP2, and would like to know if anyone has successfully got a new one today with this purported $199 price drop. It seems like it's just a rumor (http://www.brighthand.com/default.as...Windows+Mobile) but if someone has actually gotten the deal today, I'd be curious to hear how many calls it took or what exactly you said.

I just called and they had no idea what I was talking about. They were asking $500+ for it :P

Well, I just got off the phone with Premier Care and got the TP2 for $199 on my annual Premier upgrade.
I had to chat to get the account noted, they directed me to call Telesales, and Telesales put me with Premier Care where I got the nicest rep. The guy really knew his stuff. He even tried to get me a $70 renewal credit and the MIR instant. He said he couldn't at this time but to call back in and talk to them and it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the info jaytv! Unfortunately I'm not a business customer so I probably wouldn't be able to replicate your experience. I guess I'll just bide my time until they do make some sort of official cut for the rest of us.

I am not a business customer for that line either, just Premier.

Regular old Free and Clear consumer plan...
