Virtual Keyboard on TP2
Hi there! Is there a way to make the virtual keyboard not pop up on default? I have looked through other threads and messed with my phone but I can't seem to be able to make it go away. It always pops up when I open up my text messaging. It's a little thing, I know, but annoying me.

I have the same problem! I know there was a fix for the TP, but not sure about the TP2.

Yeah, that's why I figured I'd ask the almighty cell phone gods here if they knew of a way to fix it, lol.

Try editing this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip\ Create DWORD or change data "TurnOffAutoDeploy" from 0 to 1. Cheers.

I see people posting their connection speed--but why? It's one thing to show EVDO/HSDPA speeds, but I see people posting wired connections and I am puzzled (especially when the speed is not all that impressive). So, in that spirit, I will post mine:
