Adding tones for text messages

I know I did it on my TP1, I just went into a certain folder and dropped MP3s into it. Does that work the same on the TP2, and if so what folder is it? I only did it once and cant recall.

Re: Adding tones for text messages

If you put audio files in \Windows or \My Documents\My Ringtones they should show up in the drop-down list on the notifications screen where you can change the sound events make.

your text message and email tones have to be wav files if not mistaking and just copy and paste them into the windows folder and you will be good to go.

They can be MP3 files, I'm using mp3s right now for email, text, and reminder tones. Jut put them in the windows root directory.
