or you could just wait till the 1st if you will still be with in the 30 days and return and get the new price.... the guy took off the $ 30 restocking fee and made a note in my file so when i call back im good to go.


he said they all got an email about this so everyone at Sprint knows about it.

i just called *2 and spoke to a lady it took about 15 min but she did match the price

I just received a $100 credit from Sprint. Simply called *2, explained I was still within my 30 day window and I wanted to remain with Sprint. I asked for them to provide a discount since Verizon's phone was $199 and the customer service representative gave me a credit.

Easy as that.

yeah from what i see here some people are getting the priced matched, im sure if you call them and talk to the right person you will get it too.. like i said they all got the email about this, so everyone at Sprint knows.

i was thinking about calling back so i dont have to give up my tp2 but i have a defective pixel and for some reason the letter (A) on my keayboard needs to be hit a little harder than the rest of hit it twice.



like i said, they got an email about the price change. the guy i talked too was VERY friendly!!!! he told me it didnt make sense losing a customer over this

I tried to e-mail eCare 5 times and got shut down all 5.

I've been with them for over 10 years and my contract on my main line ended 2months ago.. they wont price match verizon.
My current plan details:

how recent did you email them?

if you are still with in the 30 days simply return the phone... use your old one and wait for the 1st.. according to the guy i spoke with thats when the new price will be available for everyone

or return it and call the dept i mention in the 1st post and order from them directly... he told me they will be the once to give the new price now.. you would get the new tp2 in a day or 2

it will work, dont give up

i didnt go for eCare $350 price not to mention they wouldnt let me keep my current plan....they said i can only activate the touch 2 on a simply everything plan.... even though i have a "customized plan" that includes pretty much everything

unlimited web/data $0
Unlimited txt msg $0

and i get a 17% off my bill every month for being a loyal customer

Yes. I paid $349 after rebate.

The $100 was enough to keep me as a customer considering I was willing to pay full price in the first place. I am HAPPY with my SERO plan and there is no reason to start haggling with Sprint since I am positive Verizon cannot match the price I pay on a monthly basis.

I just called.. *2 and spoke with Sales. I was issued a $100 credit. The representative also added 200 extra bonus minutes or $5.00 for my "trouble".
