Question PPCGeeks crashing

hey, i just did a hardware reset on my VZW TP2. when i try to load ppcgeeks.com in opera mobile it loads about half the page and then crashes completely. In IE it loads a blank page, I spoke with a tech from VZW and he said that on his TP2 when he loads it in IE or in Opera he gets a blank page...anyone know whats going on or how to fix this?

Opera started doing this to me with various sites after I tried to install an Opera Flash Fix I found on XDA Developers.

It installed Flash in Opera all right. But it was slow and terrible unstable without other tweeks that were beyond my kung-fu. Even after reversing the program, Opera still crashed like mad. PPC Geeks in particular. About half way after loding the main page just as you described.

I was able to load directly to http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/ and skip the main page and it worked OK. But it was so unstable (even after an Opera re-install, that I did a hard reset.

It was bad Ju-Ju IMO.

Un-tweaked again, Opera is as stable as ever.

Good luck.

Re: PPCGeeks crashing

Actually, my apologies to the OP. I usually go directly to the forums not to ppcgeeks.com. If I go to ppcgeeks.com, it crashes for me also. I have no Opera hacks or tweaks installed.

lmao no no no ...Exaust all your options before you just hard reset your phone. Cache, cookies, install beta 9.7 see if you can get to the site...If your like me i have alot of tweaks and programs on my phones..IMO i would browse around try to sort the issue out, then you may be able to share that advice. Verse saying "oh well i had that issue i just hard reset my phone" as the post i quoted states .

lol ok thanks 8notime for clearing that up for the OP....lol

Re: PPCGeeks crashing

Yeah I only made that original suggestion based on his saying he had just reset. Nothing would be lost by doing another at that point in time. I use PPCGeeks on my TP2 all the time without issue. It didn't occur to me earlier that the main page might be different than the pages that I'm accessing.
