Question Verizon TP2-freezes when using stock text or email programs

I have no trouble viewing and sending texts and emails while in TF3D.

But if I go into the stock text or email programs either immediately or shortly after my unit freezes requiring a soft reset.

It got to the point where I just left the cover off to either pull the battery or hit the reset because I had to do it so often.

For now I don't go into either app and I'm fine, but as you can imagine this is a PITA because I inadvertently end up in one of the apps and/or there are times I actually need to see the stock apps list view and then shortly after or right away my phone freezes.

I've done 6 hard resets (yep, 6 activations and everything), ran bare-bones with just while restoring just my pim data.

I wouldn't think a pim restore would cause issues.

I love this phone, the touch flow interface, the keyboard, but need the texting and email functions to completely work.

So I called verizon (before I figured out my temporary fix)and a brand new replacement is on its way.

It appears to be more software related than hardware.

The only good thing is that they gave me a better deal on the 2nd one.

My contact backup/restore is from my omnia 910 and I wonder if I should use a different back source such as myphone.

I'd appreciate any advice at all.

Thanks in Advance,
Paul
