I was looking at the back of my TP2 today when I noticed somthing that definitly was not their when I first got my phone. On the back of the phone when it is slid open if you turn it around and look at the sliding mechanism look at the metal peice to the right of the right slider frame hole On mine right in the center of the little metal peice their is a small dent that looks like it was caused by pressure to the phone while it was closed. The only time I really place any pressure on the front of the phone when it is closed is when removing the battery cover.. I've done this about 10 times at the most and came to the conslusion that nothing else came in contact with this other than the phone itself.

My question is does anyone else notice this indent on the back side of the phone when slid open. its right underneeth the front speaker. and does anyone think that it could cause problems in the future?

it's not on the keyboard portion. It's on the screen portion of the device.if you slide open the phone and dont tilt it you would see it on the right middle to the right of the sliding frame.

Sorry I dont have pics right now, i'll try and get some up tommorrow!

Re: Dent in my TP2!!

Mine too in the exact area you describe. It's dented at the backside of the top of the screen viewable when the keyboard is slid open. It has been getting worse with usage. I think it is caused by stress from the inside possibly part of the keyboard spring assembly. If you look closely, the dent stress mark is rectangular and thin.

Re: Dent in my TP2!!

I have a little dent there too. It's plastic though, I think, not metal. It doesn't bother me at all, though.

I don't see the dent in that picture. Where is it? I'm curious if I have one on my phone that I haven't notice.

Re: Dent in my TP2!!

The dent on the phone in the photo is on the left side and runs parallel to the keyboard slide track. It's minor and has no impact on the usage or performance of the phone(so far).
