Re: Windows 7 and ActiveSync.

I'm running windows 7 RTM and have no problems.

I need to add to this. Windows 7 handles bluetooth phone pairing beautifully. They have expanded on the Windows Bluetooth features so much, that anyone with Win7 and a BT phone not trying them would be a fool. I can use my laptop as a handsfree device. Data transfer between the two is totally different and easier now, too.

Re: Windows 7 and ActiveSync.

I'm running on Windows 7 RTM and it doesn't recognize my phone when I try to plug it on activesync mode (though USB cable).

It works great on disk mode though.

Btw, activesync is not supported on win7. There's a Mobile sync manager (something like that) but it doesn't detect my TP2 either. Maybe HTC will release a win7 driver...

Edit : I saw that it worked for mdphoenix... Maybe it worked for some TP2 carriers and not on others...

Re: Windows 7 and ActiveSync.

Win 7 RC1 64bit here. Some installers cannot find my active sync, even after I ran the update. I am installing RTM Ultimate later this week, will see how that improves my issue.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit. RTM version. When I got the phone it wouldn't synch but after doing a hard reset once it worked great and hasn't had an issue since..

Thumbs down Re: Windows 7 and ActiveSync.

I'm running windows 7 RTM x64 and windows mobile device center recognized the phone on the first try (TP2) and hasn't given me any problems. Haven't tried bluetooth yet but it worked great on my old 6800.

Re: Windows 7 and ActiveSync.

There is an issue with incompatibility with Win 7 RC1 64bit and Office2010 64bit. It flat out will not synchronize. The 32bit Office 2010 works great though.
