(SDHC) MicroSD cards vs (regular)Micro SDcards on HTC TP2

I am a fan of HTC phones but didn't want to upgrade to a HTCHero bc it lacked a physical keyboard (and a few other reasons). My best friend and co worker is holding onto his upgrade and mentioned during our discussion about phone purchases he will be looking for a (bigger than 8.0 gb) SDHC micro SD card bc phonescoop.com had an article on the benefits. i took a look at the article and really couldn't find any "solid" reasons to buy one.
Any pros and cons?
Any tips or suggestions?

Re: (SDHC) MicroSD cards vs (regular)Micro SDcards on HTC TP2

Well, according to my research, either one works, as long as its a microSD card and for new phones like the touch pro 2. I just ordered a Transcend 4 GB SDHC micro SD class 6 with SD adapter from newegg for like 10 bucks like 15 minutes ago 12:35pm EST.....it works for the touch pro 2, and I will advise you get a class 6 card just to be on the safe side, the classes are based on speed i believe

Re: (SDHC) MicroSD cards vs (regular)Micro SDcards on HTC TP2

microSD is anything up to 4GB, microSDHC is 4GB-16GB currently, with 32GB coming soonish. microSD cards should work in basically any device that accepts microSD cards, but different drivers are needed for microSDHC, and most devices now have them. I think the class/speed rating is seperate from SD/SDHC. I just got my 8GB A-Data card today from Newegg. Class 6 rating and also had a miniSD and SD adapter with it for $20
