Data turns on automatically on TP2

My data connection automatically turns on randomly on my tp2. I cant think of any progs that I've installed that would do that. MyPhone is set to sync manually so is my email. The weather tab is set to not automatically update weather....My data connection even turns on automatically even if wifi is turned on.

Opera will turn your connection on Auto

Say for example I manually turn off data and I turn on Wifi all programs should start to use Wifi to access the net. So Opera should be doing the same right?

may sound stupid, but did you power down and up again? I had that issue w/ the weather, and even after I unchecked the auto stuff, I had to do restart and then I was fine
