Odd Notification Behavior

On a fresh reboot I will get an email notification on the first email that comes through.

I delete that email and there's nothing in my inbox.

I get another email but I get no notification - it shows up in the inbox correctly but the assigned alert I have for emails doesn't go off.

if I don't delete that email and get another email the notification goes off correctly.

Any thoughts on this one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have hard reset a few times and this behavior is consistant - I am only running SBP Shell 3.0

have anything else installed beside 3.0?

What I have running now

SPB Shell
Microsoft net 3.5
google map
wmwifi router
octro talk

I did a hard reset with just spb shell and this still happened

It's just weird that i'll only get a notification after the 2nd email and onwards

try it with no 3.0 installed and see what happens?

i have hard reset the phone about 4 times today.

The notifications only trigger on the 2nd email each time

last option is throw it against the wall and see what happens... j/k id say if after a hard reset, without spb or anything installed and it does that, id take it back and get a new one...
