TomTom not working at all on TP2?

I've been searching this morning, and what I've found both surprises and confuses me. I cannot get Navigator 6 to work on my TP2. Apparently the resolution is throwing it off. Yet I'm finding some people are getting Navigator 7 to work on theirs. I thought Nav7 was just Nav6 for EU, but I'm thinking now that I'm incorrect in this assumption? If so, then fine. It won't work on my phone. But if it WILL, can someone please point me in the right direction.

That being said, if TTN6 will NOT work on the TP2, I would love to try iGO8. But I cannot find iGO8 for North America. I've found it for EU, but not NA. Yet someone had posted screenshots of it working in Minneapolis. So, any links for an NA version of iGO8?

i have tt7 ver 7.4 working on mines it runs fine but when i installed it,it took forever to get it to install but other than that it runs and sounds great

I cannot select what language I want to use. When the screen comes up after the install, it's distorted. I'm guessing it's because of the increased size of the screen. Maybe TTN7 was made for higher-res units?

I assume then that no one else has a TP2 with TTN6?

I tried installing 6 this morning, and and older version of iGo neither one seem to work. 7 works great for me. It seem like it takes for ever to install but when I install it after a hard reset toggle in and out of the install screen it goes pretty fast. It seems to get stuck if you just leave it on the install screen. I have not had the jittery graphics issues that some others have reported.

I've been having the same issue with Tomtom6. The resolution is screwed up and it crashes when in portrait. If I open the keyboard I see the Tomtom image in triplicate. Still looking for a solution if there is one.

There's a cab called WGAFix3 floating around that lets you change the resolution of your device. Once you change the resolution TT6 runs fine, but only on like 3/4 of the screen.

I'm trying to use tomtom and it says I can download a free map but I havent figured out how to do it? Anyone have any tips?
