Annoying "Feature" during calls

The TP2 goes dark and back to the homepage/start screen when you place the phone against your ear during a phone call. I believe this is due to the light sensor being placed next to the speaker.

Does anyone know if you can change this default setting when connected to a phone call? I don't want the screen to remain on the phone dialer during the call.

Thanks!

so if you dont want the screen to stay on the phone dialer when in a call, where do you want it to take you?

I want to see the phone's keypad when i take the phone away from my ear -- not the home screen.

It *is* a cool feature, but when you look at the screen again some mystery user places you at the home screen instead of the phone dialer. This is annoying when you want to make a three-way-call. Why should the phone guess where I want to go?

The TP2 should remain on the phone keypad unless I decide to navigate to another place.

Re: Annoying "Feature" during calls

I know that we are all excited about getting these brandnew phones and all but you got to search a little before you create a new thread. Just a few lines down on the main page of this forum someone created a thread on this same issue. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84390
Sorry, but I am getting tired of all the repetitive threads.
