TP2 worthy as dedicated mp3 player?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone who has the TP2 could tell me if it is worthy to use as an mp3 player. I know that lots of phones have been able to play mp3 files for a while now, but for some reason the media player never worked good enough for me to use the phone as a dedicated mp3 player.

Now that they put a 3.5 mm headphone jack, it seems like they want you to do that. So is it easy to manage your music while doing other stuff without having to go through 20 different menus just to change a song and get back to what you were doing?

im happy they put a headphone jack in.. but.. at the bottom? c'mon now.

i'll be interested to see what new mp3 player software comes out..
ive tried a few on the diamond and theyre either extremely over complicated, not finger friendly, ugly, or have some buggyness.

i also hope the final wm6.5 will have a new and improved media player with a NEW skin. weve had that same blue and black crap FOREVER.

I was wondering about the jack being on the bottom too, but then I realized that whenever I put my phone in my pocket I put it upside down.

go check out the videos and reviews for kinoma play. it is 29.99, but is really finger friendly and will help you use your phone as a dedicated mp3 player. you can also stream podcasts or music from your computer if it has orb installed. with that functionality I think you can manage.

You can use the trial offers to get it for much cheaper! I used godaddy for mine (~$ eight) and Blockbuster (~$ eight) for my wife's version!

try these, theyre bluetooth stereo headphones. Very light, stay on your head during movement, loud for music, battery lasts a good long time and they even have a little mic in the earpeice for making calls:

they started at $90+ but theyve been out for a few years now on ebay you can get em for like $40

Nitrogen is great. You should try that before you pay for anything.
