tp2 6.5 new feature!!!

So i didn't see anybody mention this but when i'm on a call and put the phone to my face the screen turns off and if i'm still on a call and move it away from my face the screen lights up, definitely a nice feature, i was just wondering why nobody mentioned it, or have i just missed it?

This is the proximity sensor feature, which has been beaten to death in features and video reviews of the phone :)

It's kind of funny they didn't mention the proximity sensor at all in the user guide.

Yea, if you didn't miss it nobody talked about or even knows about it. It's called Proximity Sensor! I remember seeing it on one of those PDA website... I think pocket-now site. & the Touch Pro 2 is running WM 6.1 still, the official release date for 6.5 is Oct 6 (it all over the internet). Then you can get the 6.5 upgrade and/or if you havent put another rom on ur phone that has the 6.5 build already.

Does anyone find that proximity sensor to be a bit wonky? Phone has to land PERFECTLY on my ear for this thing to work...

Not to me, the sensor is in the top left of corner of the phone so if you use it on your left ear then that corner will more than likely rest flush with your face more so than if you were using it on your right ear.

then your moving too fast... it doesnt have to touch you to work... play with it... you can watch it go off as it gets close to your face, you can also slowly pull it away and watch it come back on.....

i wonder if the screen wakeup from magnetic cases will be the next topic LOL.. MM knows what im talkin about
